In college, Laurie Lee rode a greyhound bus across the US to spend a week learning the basics of trick riding. Prior to receiving her BS in Outdoor Recreation Management, she completed a college internship performing with a team of trick riding girls in the Midwest. Later on, she joined with Arabian Nights as a trick rider for their Black Stallion Literacy Road Show, where she fell in love with the art of rosinback. Subsequently, she received training in rosinback from the Zoppes (Cavollo Equestrian Arts) and added rosinback to her performances.
Laurie Lee has performed across the US and Canada. In addition to their own acts, the Longs team with Rusty McCray to produce a complete show with a variety of exciting acts and audience participation (see Complete Show tab).
Educational seminars, workshops, and lessons are options depending on availability.
